As many of you will already know, FWF – First Week Free Campaign, was launched following the September events in conjunction with our massive elGordo promotion. For those of you who did not get to one of the September meetings – when looking at your commission statements, you may well be wondering – what is ‘Campaign Expenses’?

Well firstly… the good news is… if you have ‘Campaign Expenses’ displaying in your statement, then you have brand new Player members who have joined your team, as a consequence of the continuing elGordo FWF promotions.

How does the FWF campaign work, what does it cost, and what do you have to do?

You don’t have to do a thing to be involved in this massive elGordo FWF campaign – its all done automatically for you. However, to get maximum benefit possible, you should continue to funnel as many prospects into your e-lottery prospector as you can – we then do the rest.

How do you achieve Active Status for the
elGordo and the Spanish Lottery?

It couldn’t be simpler!

For Active Status purposes treat the elGordo just like any normal Spanish Lottery Draw.

If you sign up an elGordo player now for the draw on December 22, their spend will count towards your Spanish Lottery Active Status within the business cycle that they join, and you will receive commission for the elGordo player in that cycle. To achieve Active Status and qualify for commission in any Spanish game you must have at least £40 of Spanish volume generated by a minimum of 2 (or yourself plus one) Personally Sponsored Players, participating in either the elGordo or Spanish Lottery.

Please note that even though elGordo takes place on December 22, any spend generated in a business cycle will contribute towards that cycles’ Active Status Volume and commission payment.

If you were one of the on-the-ball Affiliates who attended the series of events in September, then we’re sure you will already be well versed in the workings of the BRAND NEW Player Viral Pages, and how best to use them.  For those of you who were unfortunately unable to attend, you can find these new Viral Pages in the tools section of your Affiliate Back Office. They work in a similar way to the Affiliate Viral Pages that were launched a few months ago. On the first page the Player-Prospects get to see a teaser preview of Liz presenting the Player proposition, and on the second page the whole movie can be viewed.

So, you now have a personalised webpage where YOUR Player-Prospects can read, in one place, all the good stuff about the smarter way to play. Let it do all the talking for you – that’s what it’s there for. All you need to do is funnel your Prospects there. At the bottom of the first page, your Player-Prospect will be asked for their name and email address.

To help them in deciding to enter their details, they are also offered one FREE entry into the Win a Mini promotion! These details are then saved before the Prospect is taken to a landing page where they will find even more compelling reasons to be a Player. If they decide not to join as a Player at that time, don’t worry. These Player-Prospects will be periodically emailed more information and rollover alerts. Once your Player-Prospects move forward to the landing page they can view the whole Player movie and read many more compelling reasons why playing with e-lottery is the right thing to do.

Please be aware that the repeat subscription schedule for your Spanish syndicate membership has changed. This information is important to you as you need to ensure that you have sufficient funds in your member e-wallet, (or in the account that we would normally refer to), to cover your Spanish syndicate membership charge when it is applied.

For the November Superdraw, which takes place on Saturday 7th November 2009:
Players and Affiliates who are not paying from commission will be charged on 12th of October 2009. Affiliates who choose to pay subscriptions from commission will be repeat billed on 26th of October 2009  – during the commission run.

For the December el Gordo draw, which takes place on Tuesday 22nd December 2009:
Players and Affiliates who are not paying from commission will be charged on 9th of November 2009. Affiliates who choose to pay subscriptions from commission will be repeat billed on 23rd of November 2009  – during the commission run.

For the January el Nino draw, which takes place on Wednesday 6th January 2010:
Players and Affiliates who are not paying from commission will be charged on 23rd of December 2009. Affiliates who choose to pay subscriptions from commission will be repeat billed on 21st of December 2009  – during the commission run – before the el Gordo draw.
